Frontier Texas! is a welcoming program in downtown Abilene, specifically inside a building that serves as a visitors center. Attractions in the building include an audio-visual area where visitors can learn about cowboys and longhorns, soldiers and forts, Indians, the buffalo trade and other aspects of frontier life from 1780-1880.
