Abilene Christian University First in Nation to Give iPhones to All Freshmen

Abilene Christian University students this year will be using iPhones or iPods to get homework alerts, answer in-class surveys and quizzes, check their cafeteria balances and other things as part of the university’s move to a “mobile learning” model.

The school becomes the first in the nation to give away iPhones or iPods to all incoming freshmen as well as faculty.
